Holy cow, I truly can't believe this is my last pday ever. I can't even begin to express what I feel or the gratitude in my heart for this place, these experiences and these people. I don't even know where to begin summing up this whole experience and what it's meant to me so I won't try lol. Hopefully, I'll be ready by the time my homecoming rolls around. Stay tuned haha.   I'll start by talking about the miracles of the past few weeks. Sister Gibbs and I have been working so so hard to find people who are interested and ready to progress with not much luck until a few weeks ago.  We got a text from a random number who said he had a dream that he needed to come to church and would be there in the morning! The text came at 3 am and Arda and his friend Parsa actually showed up for 8:30 am church where we met them for the first time! They were really nervous because they had both recently converted to Christianity and moved here from Turkey but they couldn...

Windermere Adventures

Ok these last couple weeks have absolutely flown by and been so chaotic and all over the place, but so so good!! Hmm to start off, as soon as Sis Gibbs and I got settled into our new apartment in the hood our housing coordinators let us know we had to move AGAIN!  We packed up, went to transfers to get our new apartment key and on the way there a lady was switching lanes and switched lanes right into the side of our car. We had to wait for 2 hours for the cops to come and fill out an accident report so in the meantime we taught this lil couple a little bit of the gospel and left them with a Book of Mormon and she told me she liked my dimples so it all turned out ok haha! Our area is kinda tricky because there were no missionaries serving here for a while. We're working hard to build it up and find people so it's been interesting but there have been so many tender mercies and miracles along the way! I've seen so much of God's perfect timing in this area. I have too many ...

Hello Hogwarts

Its been a minute since ive written an email but its been a wild few weeks lol To start off i'm in a new area, Windermer.  It's crazy but I'll address that later hahaha! Back to Merritt Island... the last few weeks have been filled with miracles and amazing people! First, we got a referral named Amanda- the first time we visited her she said she wanted to be baptized!  Her boyfriend is a member and has been teaching her and her 3 kids...come to find out  he is a member from Ooviedo which is my very first area so that was a cool little connection! She wanted to surprise him by receiving all the missionary lessons-she was incredible! The second miracle is Sean. Sean  a man who the missionaries gave a pass a-long card to at a gas station a long time ago. He kind of  randomly called us saying he had some questions for us and if we could answer them he wanted he and his whole family to convert...no pressure right? Anyhow, we invited  him to church and he came! W...

I Love You!

Your Great Adventure This is what I pondered on and studied today. It reminded me of your thought about Jesus being intentional with his time. Love you so.  https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/liahona/2019/11/43uchtdorf?lang=eng

2 Baptisms And A Wedding!

Image
That last couple weeks have been so amazing!! For starters last week we we're running out of our friend joannes lesson cause we were late for another one and she just casually says "I'm getting the thought that I need to be baptized next week" we were shook because joanne is amazing but told us it would probably be long a while before she was ready to get baptized but after spending our lesson reading 1 nephi 1 she couldn't deny the spirit she felt and the way she related to nephi! The book of mormon truly has converting power!! The Spirit was so strong and she kept saying how excited she was to be baptized just like Jesus! Her baptism day was so special she had so much support from the ward and she was just beaming with joy the whole day! Her unshaken trust in Jesus Christ has changed me and taught me so much! These last couple weeks have also been spent on the the phone with the courthouse for hours trying to find a marshallese translator for our friends Tommy a...

Baptisms And Bugs

Highlights from the last couple weeks!  We had transfers and sister rubio left me but sister sellers joined me here in merritt island she is so sweet and pure and i already love her so much!  We got to go and do baptisms for the dead with our recent convert zachary! It was so great he was able to baptize us and the spirit was so strong!! Zachary got to meet the temple president, president Holladay and it was just such a beautiful day!! I also got to see some of my very favorite members from my first area at the temple which was a tender mercy for sure! On sunday we had zachary and our other recent convert Johan bless the sacrament for the first time and it was just the happiest feeling seeing them both up there progressing and learning in the gospel!  Tommy and his fiance tantan are getting their marriage license this week so hopefully on Saturday we'll have a wedding/baptism colab. Stay tuned we've tried to get thearriage license twice already but both times we've tried ...
