This week was solid! Even though the weather was either too hot to even attempt finding outside or pouring rain, we did as best we could! We have a couple of people we're teaching that could be getting ready for baptism! The struggle is getting them to 9:30 church. Apparently it's just too early hahaha Our friend Henry was able to make it to church this week though which is a BIG win. He lives pretty far away and doesn't have a car, which means he has to bike in the Florida heat to come to church. But he came! And said he would come back next week!! The youth in the Oviedo Ward are so amazing, They always welcome us right in and are so fun to hang out with! Sister Siddoway and I have been inviting them to come to teach lessons with us and they are always SO willing and excited. It amazes me because I was nothing like that at their age. That last couple weeks have been so amazing!! For starters last week we we're running out of our friend joannes lesson cause we were late for another one and she just casually says "I'm getting the thought that I need to be baptized next week" we were shook because joanne is amazing but told us it would probably be long a while before she was ready to get baptized but after spending our lesson reading 1 nephi 1 she couldn't deny the spirit she felt and the way she related to nephi! The book of mormon truly has converting power!! The Spirit was so strong and she kept saying how excited she was to be baptized just like Jesus! Her baptism day was so special she had so much support from the ward and she was just beaming with joy the whole day! Her unshaken trust in Jesus Christ has changed me and taught me so much!
