2 Baptisms And A Wedding!

That last couple weeks have been so amazing!!

For starters last week we we're running out of our friend joannes lesson cause we were late for another one and she just casually says "I'm getting the thought that I need to be baptized next week" we were shook because joanne is amazing but told us it would probably be long a while before she was ready to get baptized but after spending our lesson reading 1 nephi 1 she couldn't deny the spirit she felt and the way she related to nephi! The book of mormon truly has converting power!! The Spirit was so strong and she kept saying how excited she was to be baptized just like Jesus! Her baptism day was so special she had so much support from the ward and she was just beaming with joy the whole day! Her unshaken trust in Jesus Christ has changed me and taught me so much!

These last couple weeks have also been spent on the the phone with the courthouse for hours trying to find a marshallese translator for our friends Tommy and tan tan (who are from the Marshall Islands) so they could get their marriage license so Tommy could get baptized it took 3 attempts of going to the courthouse but we finally got it!!! (Thanks to my dad finding a translator for us hahaha) but anyways we had the most pure wedding for them! The ward made so much food and sister sellers and i were literally the wedding planners and decortit was just such a great time, one of the favorite days of my mission for sure! But Tommy's baptism was amazing he was just the happiest guy and his family was so proud of him! They cant wait to be sealed in the temple!! I'm so lucky to know them!

Funny story right before the baptisms we got there to fill the font and it was filled with freezing cold water filled with bugs and the drain wasn't working so we were freaking out and ended up getting buckets and hauling the water out.

A few more miracles this week were we were able to put our friend Neil on date and he's on track to be baptized this upcoming week! And yesterday at church a guy we didn't recognize showed up and he said he saw sis sellers and I at a store earlier that week and said it something in him told us he needed to go to the "Mormon" church so he looked it up online and showed up! Amazing!!

Something that I've been thinking a lot about lately thanks to my mission president is the idea of being intentional with everything we do and not just doing things to fill our schedules and to feel and look busy. Because that's how jesus was, his days were busy I'm sure haha but they weren't "busywork" every interaction he had with someone was meaningful, purposeful and entirely intentional. He wasn't just going through the motions and letting the days go by he lived in the moment and was totally present with what was in front of Him, whoever and whatever it was. Kinda random but something I related a lot to because its easy when your at this point in the mission to kinda just go through the motions so I'm trying to make each interaction and day count!!

Love you all!!!
