Best Thanksgiving And Birthday
Okay quick recap of the last couple weeks! Last week was Thanksgiving and it was literally the most special day ever. We had FOUR Thanksgiving dinners (I was dead lol) At the last one the members threw me a little birthday party. It was so sweet I almost cried. I also hit 6 months which is CRAZY- 1/3 done, I'm so grateful for the time I've been able to be here and for all the things I've learned I wouldn't change it for anything. And lastly after 6 months I got transferred and I was so excited but my heart also broke a lil... I cannot express my gratitude for the amazing people that I came to know and love in Oviedo. They will always have a piece of my heart and I miss them so much already!!
But for the good news, I got transferred to Satellite Beach! This area is amazing- it's a little island that we get to work on so imma beach girl now! I get to be companions with Sista Clough who I love so much she is the sweetest ever- she's truly an angel and such a hard worker, I'm so excited to learn from her and her example!
Some more good news is we have our friend Kelsea on date for baptism on 15th and I have never met someone more prepared for the gospel than her. We are so excited for her! The work in Satellite is so good and we are so busy. This past week I've been DEAD at the end of the day because we're running around so much during the day. I got too comfy in Oviedo for sure- God knew it was time for me to stretch and grow which I'm so grateful for! I kind of feel like a greenie again getting to know a brand new area which I don't love but what I do love is all the amazing people that I've met and have yet to meet here!
I'm so grateful for the chance I have to be a missionary especially at Christmas time, it's so special being able to spend this holiday season having my focus on the Savior and telling people about the joy and peace that comes only from turning to him! Jesus is amazing. I really do love him so much!!
"Reflecting on my own experiences, I realize I have learned some of my best lessons during the hardest times in my life, times that took me out of my comfort zone....The more I cheerfully respond to difficult circumstances with faith in the Lord, the more I grow in my discipleship." Elder Issac K Morrison I love this.
Love and miss everyone so much!
