We Out Here!
Hi hi hi!
These past few weeks have been pretty busy but good! We got our new Mission President, President and Sister Schmeil. They are from Brazil and are so sweet. We had our first zone conference with them and they are excited to get out and do exchanges with missionaries as soon as possible!
This last Monday was the 4th of July and the ward had a big pancake breakfast and bike parade. Sister Siddoway and I had the honor of leading out the bike parade for all the little kids- it was a sight to see hahaha!
We're still teaching sweet Henry. He's come to church and also a Baptism. He wants to start meeting regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays! Another lady we're teaching named Maureen came to sacrament meeting, bore her testimony and gave EVERYONE that she passed by a big hug hahahah!
We've been doing lots of service helping people move and it sounds weird but that's one of my favorite things to do. One of the guys told me that I "sure know know how to lift" soo basically I'm a professional mover. We've also been doing lots of service for our neighbor "Grandma." She's the best, always makes sure we're taken care of and threatens to spank us if we fall outta line!
The STLs (Sister Training Leaders) we live with were going on exchanges with some other sisters but they ended up coming to our place and we had a mega bed sleepover in our living room. It was so fun!
Im loving Oviedo so much. It's so cute here and the members are so amazing. We are so very blessed to have them. They take such good care of us and they're so much fun to be around! They treat Sister Siddoway and I like their own.
We had a special experience where we were at a member dinner and they invited a non member friend and the lesson we gave was apparently exactly what she needed to hear.
The biggest miracle this week was at church on Sunday. We were talking to the ward clerk about this family that hadn't been to church in months and we had been trying everything to get in contact with them, then as soon as we said their names they walked in the doors! Ahh it was so cool!
Anyhow, right now we're currently on our way to Disney Springs which is wayyy out of our area but President gave us permission because one of the STLs we live with is going home and she's never been, so super fun!
I keep referring back to one of my favorite talks "Come what may and Love it" by Joseph B Wirthlin and it has helped me so much to understand that I really need to embrace every single moment while I'm here. The good and the bad. The bad especially because that's where I'm going to grow the most and come closest to my Savior. Everyone should go give that talk a read, especially my missionary friends. It's such a good reminder and it's helped me a lot :)))
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!
Sister Campbell
