Angel Baby
Dear Angel baby, sissy, cutie, claire bear, eclair, sister c, darlingest baby girl ever,
How is my girl? Oh how every little picture and letter from you makes me so happy. Edie, getting that letter in the mail from you was like Christmas times a million. I loved every word and have read it about 20 times since it arrived. It was postmarked July 27th from Orlando, so it came so quick! like 3 days! Thats good to know! I can't wait to hear what your week was like. I love todays Church meeting so much. It was Austin Tulllis' homecoming and Josh Tullis farewell. It was so good. Jason Johnson said the opening prayer in Sacrament and he said so much about mission work and missionaries serving and the it being the greatest work in the world. I was crying from the get go! Then as it was for everyone in the church today, the 5th Sunday meeting was on members sharing the gospel and missionary work. We got to watch all of the clips from that General Conference we listened to from Hawaii when nearly every Apostle and Prophet spoke about the importance of serving a mission. I was reminded how comforting it was for you to already have made that decision all on your own. It was such a confirmation. Eden I am so grateful to you for your example of stepping into the dark and choosing faith. I know that is a simple principle and we've talked a lot about it, but it has so much power in world. When we CHOOSE faith, we are blessed with more faith and trusted with more power and knowledge. I know you are experiencing that in little ways every day. I LOVE seeing the happy light in your face in pictures and your fun loving personality in every email. Today a British man was in our ward. I've never seen him before but he commented in Sunday School. He was a lifetime member of the church from the British Isles. He mentioned how important it is for us to show others how HAPPY we are because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He said (in his British accent haha) "We have every reason to be the happiest people on earth! We must stop and think before we walk 'round about' with our mouth turned down" haha. He ment, we have the light and love and pease of Jesus Christ's restored Gospel... we should be radiating happiness wherever we go for all to see. You are SO GOOD AT THAT!
Luke has been having a good time at football this week. Wes had his little pee-wee football tryout last week as well. He made the B team woo hooo! His coach called dad and told him how MUCH Wessy had improved since last year! He looked so good and more agressive at tryouts and he was really proud of him! Hes a little squirt but he's having a great old time!
Elsa is excited for DCO camp this week. They've been choreographing all week preping. Nothing like Dee giving them only 2 weeks notice about who the officers would be. AHHH-she makes it so hard for this little gals to not be stress cases like herself!
Lauren and Michael P are headed to Europe this week. Laur is very nervous for some reason. She's fine, but just kind of nervous to be gone for so long. It will be a great adventure. We got to meet Margot today. She is YUMMY! We let her put her feet in the pool and she was in heaven. Im proud to say I gave her her first fresca as well. It was the cutest thing ever. Cute little lovie. Oh I miss hearing from you about how your Elder Tommy boy is doing. Rebeccas says good-but I liked your stories better hahah. We love that loyal hardworking boy and pray for him too. I hope you are able to stay as close even though talking is trickier. It's no secret we have such good feelings about the two of you as a team. Love that ever loyal, hardworking, consistant Elder T. He is unwavering in his support for you and a one in a million. Oh Luke could use him right now to talk football hahah. Its quite the thing.
Anyway, I love you sweetie. I can't wait to talk to you tomorrow. Im in the process of getting the Sister Missionaries on our street a gift card like I promised you I would. I need their correct phone number so I can get it to them. How sweet that was that giving that to them was one of the things you wanted me to do for you. I love you and can't wait for the morn.
Love you forever and ever,
Mama
