2 Months

This week was a little bit uneventful so lots of pictures! But let's see me and sister siddoway saw so many creatures this week. Frogs, deers, hogs, gators, turtles, cows, lizards, GIANT spiders, cats, bunnies, armadillos and probably a couple more I forgot about. It's like all the Animals in Florida planned to come out the same week and give us a show hahaha


My ward had a super fun pioneer day party with smores and games and then I gave a talk in church the next day. It was super amazing because someone we've been teaching for a while had refused to come to church n
but she showed up to support me in my talk then ended us inviting over for her daughters birthday that night super cool!


Anywaysssss I'm done with my first transfer and I hit my 2 months and me and sister siddoway are both stayin in Oviedo, wahoo it went by so fast but also kind of slow time is weird. I'm really happy to be here but it's easy to get overwhelmed by how much I still have in front of me but I'm learning SO MUCH that I wouldn't be able to learn anywhere else or or from anyone else so Im grateful for every single day. The most important thing Im learning is that every moment is either a blessing or a lesson and all something thats going to eventually be for our gain and something thats meant to help to turn into the person God knows you can be and wants you to be. Even when its hard its important to lean into it and just feel the emotions and then step back and see what you can learn from it and the savior will take care of the rest I have no idea if that made any sense but anyways hahahaha The people are amazing and the work is going good!

Give Time a Chance

This week was solid! Even though the weather was either too hot to even attempt finding outside or pouring rain, we did as best we could! We have a couple of people we're teaching that could be getting ready for baptism! The struggle is getting them to 9:30 church. Apparently it's just too early hahaha Our friend Henry was able to make it to church this week though which is a BIG win. He lives pretty far away and doesn't have a car, which means he has to bike in the Florida heat to come to church. But he came! And said he would come back next week!! The youth in the Oviedo Ward are so amazing,  They always welcome us right in and are so fun to hang out with! Sister Siddoway and I have been inviting them to come to teach lessons with us and they are always SO willing and excited.  It amazes me because I was nothing like that at their age. 2 Baptisms And A Wedding!

That last couple weeks have been so amazing!! For starters last week we we're running out of our friend joannes lesson cause we were late for another one and she just casually says "I'm getting the thought that I need to be baptized next week" we were shook because joanne is amazing but told us it would probably be long a while before she was ready to get baptized but after spending our lesson reading 1 nephi 1 she couldn't deny the spirit she felt and the way she related to nephi! The book of mormon truly has converting power!! The Spirit was so strong and she kept saying how excited she was to be baptized just like Jesus! Her baptism day was so special she had so much support from the ward and she was just beaming with joy the whole day! Her unshaken trust in Jesus Christ has changed me and taught me so much!
