1 Month Down 17 To Go!!
This past week I hit my 1 month mark of being a missionary!! I know big deal right hahahaha anyways this week FLEW by I can't even hardly remember what happened but I'll try to summarize.
We started teaching someone new named Henry and he is the BIGGEST sweetheart and just wants to change and grow is relationship with Christ he's so amazing!
Me and sister siddoway planned to go street contacting at 2pm one of these days then the time came and it was over 100 degrees and in the middle of the work day so we thought no chance people were going to be out, but we decided to stick with our plan anyways and look for the "elect" (people who are ready to hear the gospel haha) and we ended up finding 6 people in a row who were so loving and wanted to talk to us which is not super common so it was such miracle. Anyways we ended up getting all their contact info and hopefully have some lessons with them coming up soon!
The biggest highlight of this week was getting invited to a big ol floridian cookout. Our friend Donell called us and said "come to the country girls". So we show up and it was AMAZING. I have never met more loving, kind or welcoming people than Donells family and friends everyone said hi and wanted to talk to us. It was western themed and they had an entire pig, gator, frog legs and all the "fix ins" My plate of food was probably 8lbs. Anyways we met Lorenzo who plays for the gators and me and sister siddoway told him we would pray that he'd get drafted into the NFL nbd
We're getting a new mission president this week so the current ones the (Ashcrafts) gave their final devotional. And even though I only knew them for a very very short I could feel their love and spirit. They talked about "consciously seeking the will of the father" and being willing to align our will with his. President talked about how we should fight to want to be here and to fight to make time to read the scriptures and pray and fight to make sure that we know how much God loves us even when it's not easy to do these things when we fight for them, they are so much more rewarding.
"Jesus Christ is the Master Physician. Through His Atonement, He binds up our wounds, takes upon Himself our infirmities, and heals our broken hearts. Through His grace our weakness can become strong. He invites us to follow Him by learning of Him, listening to His words, and walking in the meekness of His Spirit. He has promised to help us in this lifelong process of conversion, which transforms us and brings everlasting joy."

"Jesus is my friend. None other has given me so much. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). He gave His life for me. He opened the way to eternal life. Only a God could do this. I hope that I am deemed worthy of being a friend to Him."

LOVE YOU ALL
